When we are closed

 

When the Surgery is closed, you will need to call 111 for medical advice. If it is a life threatening emergency then you should call 999.

 

When you call 111 you will be asked a number of questions. A computer based flowchart will decide the outcome, this could either be an ambulance, asking you to attend an A&E department, passing your call through to DevonDoctors or giving you some useful advice. 

 

If you do speak to a Doctor it will be from DevonDoctors. DevonDoctors are based in The Walk-in-Centre in Exeter and provide access to a GPs out of hours. Dr. Campbell does a number of shifts with DevonDoctors and you will often speak to him. For more information please click the link below.
