History

ISCA Medical Practice was formed on 1st April 2008 when Homefield Surgery merged with Charters Surgery. Until October 2016, ISCA operated from two sites.

Dr Midgley was the last remaining single handed GP in Exeter, and he merged his surgery with Drs Charles & Elizabeth Reeves Surgery when they retired in 2008.

Prior to Dr Midgley running Homefield, Dr Rodgers was the GP and prior to him was the late Dr Kenneth Forber.

Dr Joe Stych joined the team in 2010 and relocated to Sidmouth in 2012, Dr Campbell joined the team in January 2013 from a previous partnership in Torquay. Dr Davidson started in late 2016 as a part-time salaried Doctor.

In October 2016, the new building at 37A Polsloe Road was opened and Homefield Road Surgery was closed. Since 2014 ISCA Medical has provided medical student placements and in 2018 ISCA Medical Practice will be a training practice for GP Registrars.
